Caroline was born on October 10, 1992, to Bill and Elizabeth Forbes in Mystic Falls, Virginia. This is where she grew up and went to high school. Caroline is part of one of the Mystic Falls founding families. She's head of the cheerleading squad and often takes on the roles to be head of the organising committee for most of the towns events.Caroline's introduction to vampires was far from pleasant, after having an eye on a strange new man at the Mystic Grill, who later turns out to be Damon Salvatore who used her for his own amusement, enjoyment and to get into the Lockwoods' to retrieve his crystal. While with Damon, Caroline wore scarves around her neck to cover the bruises and bite marks left from when Damon fed on her. Eventually she's able to break away from him confiding in her friend Elena.Caroline is her year's Miss Mystic Falls winner, a town pageant that she had been obsessed with entering since her and her friends were younger.After one of the founders day events Caroline and Matt were being driven home by Tyler Lockwood, Tyler reacted to the device that was set to reveal all vampires and werewolves The car went out of control, driving into a barrier. Caroline collapsed due to internal injuries, and while at the hospital it wasn't looking like she was going to survive. Damon fed an unconscious Caroline his blood in aid to heal her, which does work quickly. However, later the same night Katherine entered her hospital room. Caroline mistook her for Elena, but Katherine corrected her. She asked Caroline to give a message (Game On) to the Salvatore Brothers. She picked up Caroline's pillow and smothered her to death.Caroline having vampire blood in her system at the time awoke the next morning whilst in transition, and had new sense for the scent of blood. Caroline found a blood bag in the hospital and completed her transition. After fully transitioning all of the compulsion previously used on her had worn off and she could remember all of the things Damon had done. Caroline's new vampire nature added difficulty to her relationships with friends and romantic partners.Becoming a vampire made her see the world in a different light, with her maturing as well. She became much more responsible and protective, which she proves when comforting Tyler on the night of his first full moon and refusing to leave him, despite knowing that one bite would kill her. Ironically, she appreciates life more since becoming a vampire. Moreover, despite having killed a man, she hadn't killed again in several months, thus showing an impressive amount of control for a newly turned vampire, As a new Vampire, Caroline remains loyal towards humans, despite her blood lust.

Freya is the firstborn child of Mikael and Esther, the elder sister of Finn, Elijah, Kol, Rebekah, and Henrik, the maternal older half-sister of Klaus.Esther told Mikael that Freya had died of the plague while he was off hunting, when in fact her aunt Dahlia took her as payment for performing a fertility spell using Dark Magic that would allow Esther to have children. Dahlia allowed Freya to live planning to use her to brand a new form of power which she would absorb from the powerful Freya, casting a spell on her that causes her to hibernate for a hundred years to preserve her youth and to only age for a year upon awakening which is also presumably what Dahlia has done to preserve herself as well. Freya escaped from under Dahlia's wing and fled from her powerful aunt.Centuries later, desperate to find out more about her family, she traveled to New Orleans in 1914 where she attended a Christmas party thrown by her siblings. Attending as her brother, Kol's date, she was witness to Klaus' cruelty when he staked Kol in front of the entire party. Freya then puts herself in a glass coffin in the Dowager Fauline Cottage where she then repeated her hibernation cycle until awaking December 31, 2012.Entering a deep sleep that lasted a century, she awoke 100 years later where she discovered that her sister, Rebekah, had been imprisoned in the Asylum in the body of a young witch. Posing as an inmate, she witnessed Rebekah's confrontations with the Kindred and Cassie's betrayal. Using her magic, Freya saved Rebekah from the Kindred and broke the spell on the Asylum, freeing herself and Rebekah.When Freya reunites with her brother Finn, he informs her of Hope's life, which inspires Freya (who wishes to take revenge against Dahlia for the deaths of her lover and son) to kill Dahlia in protection of her niece. The second daughter of Mikael and Esther, Rebekah grew up largely influenced by the behaviors of her brothers, Klaus in particular.Not wanting to go through the pain of losing another child ever again, their mother Esther tapped into Dark Magic to cast an adapted version of Qetsiyah's immortality spell, calling upon the sun for life and the ancient white oak tree for immortality. That night, unbeknownst to Rebekah and her siblings, they drank wine laced with the blood of Tatia at dinner and afterward, Mikael drove his sword through their hearts. After the children awakened, Mikael forced his children to feed on the blood a local villager in order to complete their transition into vampires.Though Rebekah described the feeling of becoming a vampire as being euphoric, she and her siblings quickly began to realize that their new gifts had its weaknesses as well: the flowers that grew at the base of the white oak tree, Vervain, burned them and prevented them from compelling their human neighbors; the sun burned their skin, making it impossible for them to walk in the daylight until their mother enchanted rings to protect them; and they were unable to enter the homes of their neighbors without an invitation. The worst of their side effects was their insatiable thirst for human blood, which persisted long after they had transitioned into vampires and eventually forced them to learn self-control.Klaus regularly daggered Rebekah to keep her under his control, she is resurrected by Klaus during the vampire diaries third season as she is the only one who knows how to contact 'the original witch'. biography

EARLY LIFEPeyton Elizabeth Sawyer was the only child born to Ellie Harp and Mick Wolf. Due to their inability to be able to cope with a newborn child, they gave her up for adoption, choosing Larry and Anna Sawyer to become Peyton's parents. Peyton shared many happy memories with her adoptive family and grew close to them both, especially her adoptive mother Anna. Anna died in a car accident when Peyton was eight, leaving her to be mainly brought up by her father; who was frequently absent due to his career. The accident that cost Anna her life made a large impact on Peyton's life, as it drove an unintentional wedge between her and her father as she grew. She became closed-off and expressed herself through art, music, and words. To deal with his own grief, Peyton's father Larry began working away from home in an effort to make more money on a trudge boat, forcing Peyton to live alone for long periods of time.HIGHSCHOOL
Peyton is part of the core five along side Nathan Scott (former ex boy friend and captain of the basketball team). Lucas Scott (reoccuring love interest). Brooke Davis (best friend from childhood) and Haley James (tutor girl),

All Peyton has ever known is to be alone because the people she cares about leaves. This leads to some very risky behaviour, also including suicidal tendencies. After her adoptive mom died in a car crash after running a singular red light, from the age Peyton could drive she started running them all the time. She couldn't see how it was fair that she had run hundreds of red light and survived when her mom had only ran one and got hit.Peyton also has a small history with drugs, after her boyfriend Jake is forced to leave, she is reminded that maybe she is just destined to be alone. She's so busy helping everybody else, no one see's that she herself is going through a hard time and needs support too.ELLIE
Peyton finds out she is adopted after 17 years and learns that her biological mother is still alive and that her name is Ellie Harp, the same lady who have previously asked to do an article on Peyton for an alternative press magazine. Peyton grows close to Ellie eventually however soon discovers that she has incurable breast cancer and soon becomes the next person in Peyton's life to abandon her.TRAUMA
After a school shooting breaks out, and Peyton is left fighting for her life after accidentally being shot in the leg, she is recused by Lucas Scott who carries her out to safety.
After Ellie's death Peyton finds out she has a half brother named Derek, whom she thinks she had met when a tall blonde guy comes looking for her. This however turns out to be Peyton's online stalker. It takes a little while for her to realise the truth and by the time she does 'psycho derek' has already started making his move. She is saved by Lucas, and believes that Derek has been locked up. However he comes back for one last round on prom night where he holds both Peyton and Brooke hostage in Peyton's basement. Eventually working free, derek is actually locked up for good.
